We were tasked with bringing the newest player in the real estate category to life. Akamai is a real estate manager formed by a group of investors with great experience in the local and international environment.
Creating a brand from its origins is always a great responsibility and an honor. For us it means taking care of all the details prior to their birth. In other words, define a solid brand strategy understanding the category and especially the potential client; design an attractive visual identity that connects with the public; and, finally, develop an identity system robust enough to allow the brand to function in the best possible way.
Akamai, by the nature of its business, needs to have a very complete and complex identity system at the same time. You need to have distinctive elements of the brand such as iconography, visual elements for advertising and also graphic elements for a corporate language. Designing this system and understanding the needs of the brand allowed Akamai to have all the necessary elements to build its identification.
The project also involved the creation and development of the website. The challenge here was to design a site that served two roles: informational and commercial. Both very different but key to the development of the brand. Thanks to this definition we were able to solve the content structure, usability and look & feel of the page.
