Grupo Edo was formed thanks to the exponential growth of the Peruvian-Japanese fusion restaurant business. It started its operations with Edo Sushi Bar in 2004, and over the years they diversified the portfolio to serve different segments. This is how Tzuru, Yakitori and Gyu are born.
The visual identity of the Group, although sober, did not reflect the business character it needed to project.
The brand needed a powerful concept, reflecting the Peruvian-Japanese fusion. Exploring their similarities we found that the sun was an important element of both cultures. On the one hand, Japan is known as the country of the rising sun, while the ancient Peruvians, the Incas, worshiped the Sun and considered it a Divinity. This is how the concept of the rising sun was born, which is nothing more than the meeting of two great cultures.
